Safeguarding
At the Ridgeway CE Primary School providing a safe and secure environment for all our school community is a priority. We are committed to the highest levels of safeguarding practice and expect all staff, governors, volunteers and visitors, to share in this commitment.
The school has a number of robust policies and procedures in place to ensure that all members of our school community are protected from harm and that any concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. (Our safeguarding policies can be found on our policy page here.) The governors regularly review the School's safeguarding procedures and have a crucial role in monitoring and challenging the school staff on the effectiveness of safeguarding arrangements.
Our dedicated staff are trained to recognise safeguarding concerns and know how to respond appropriately. We work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to support the well-being of our students and to provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
If you have any safeguarding concerns or would like more information about our safeguarding policies and procedures, please do not hesitate to contact our designated safeguarding lead who will be able to assist you. If you would like support with staying safe online please see our e-Safety page here.
